Summer Research Assistant – One 6 month term (May to October) Research Assistant position is still available
*NEW* Garden Helper – one summer position available
We are hiring a garden helper. No experience necessary (training will be provided), but must like to work outdoors and have an interest in gardening, agriculture, or horticulture. The right candidate will help with tending our community and market gardens, including weeding, harvesting, and irrigation, and assist with lawn care. They will also aid with our horticultural research projects, which include pumpkins, cabbage and haskaps.
Applicants must be 30 years of age or younger as of the start date and a legal resident of Canada (meeting Canada Summer Jobs funding requirements). This is a great position for a high school student. Start date is July 5th. Pay is $15/h and up to 35 hours per week. Job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
